Three players Paris Saint Germain tested positive COVID-19. One of the players who contracted the corona virus reportedly was Neymar.
Through his Twitter account, Wednesday (2/9/2020), PSG reported that three of his players were positively infected corona virus after undergoing the test. The players are currently undergoing quarantine.
“Three @PSG_English players confirmed positive after the Sars CoV2 test and have undergone the appropriate medical protocols,” PSG wrote on its social media account.
“All players and staff will continue to be tested in the next few days.”
According to reports The team, the three players are Neymar, Angel Di Maria, and Leandro Paredes. They reportedly just returned from a vacation in Ibiza.
PSG itself has not played in Ligue 1 even though the competition in France has been rolling. The Parisians received an extra day off after advancing to the Champions League final where they were beaten by Bayern Munich.
PSG are scheduled to have their first match in Ligue 1 against Racing Lens on September 10.
