Tokens, from May 3, for the Tec de Progreso
The Tecnológico Nacional de México, Progreso campus, will implement Remote Computer Systems Engineering from the 2021-2022 school year.
According to a statement, the Tec de Progreso has little more than 20 years with students who have graduated from the school modality and today it is a pioneer among the decentralized technology of the State in offering an educational program to students of upper secondary education.
The Tec, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, implemented the Moodle platform for non-face-to-face classes.
It currently has more than 200 courses on the platform, so this experience is significant for teaching the Computer Systems Engineering career in its distance mode, informed the director of Tecnológico Progreso, Rodolfo González Crespo.
He added that it is intended to maintain this modality in the Computer Systems career after the pandemic, for young people interested in continuing their studies in this way.
The distance modality consists of taking a non-face-to-face educational program supported by content and learning resources designed by teachers to promote students’ autonomous learning.
The student will not be subject to complying with an established schedule, but may define their time and space to carry out academic activities independently with the support and advice of teachers at previously established schedules.
The professors of the Computer Systems academy have a master’s and doctorate profile with extensive experience and training in the use of information technologies and virtual learning strategies.
The dates to request the chips are from May 3 to June 25; the entrance exam is on July 2 and the results for this race will be published on July 7.
Registrations will be online. In www.progreso.tecnm.mx, the call will be available from May 3.
This modality is added to the modality of the night career of Logistics Engineering to increase the educational offer of the technological campus which has the engineering in Administration, Business Management, Logistics, Electromechanics, Renewable Energies, Computer Systems, Digital Animation and Effects Visuals, all of them impacting the high demand in the labor sector in the region.
In addition to the Master of Business Administration, which is offered in the school and executive systems, both have a duration of two years, the school is taught on Wednesdays and Fridays and the executive modality which is on Saturdays.
