Newton questions the hiring of competitors: “Why are these unknowns still employed?”

He announced on social media that he will be attending the Auburn Tigers’ Pro Day, the team where he won the 2009 Heisman Trophy for best college player, to present himself to NFL scouts.

But that’s not all. Newton makes a real declaration of war in the video. “Tell me how do these ‘randoms’ still get jobs?” he shoots at his quarterback rivals.

After that, some highlight clips from the training can be seen in the video, which should of course make the former MVP look good.

In addition to clips of throws and runs, he also has an announcement for his critics.

“I’ll show you. I can’t wait to show you guys,” says Newton.

At the end of the 54-second clip, he then shoots again in the direction of his competition: “There are definitely no 32 motherf***** better than me.”

Big tones from a player who couldn’t find a franchise last season – probably also because of his attitude.

The Tigers’ Pro Day will show what Newton is really capable of. There he definitely has the opportunity to follow up the big words with deeds.
