Like other employees in essential sectors, the newspaper carriers of the Carouge company Epsilon continued to work during the pandemic. Raised at dawn, they distribute newspapers throughout the canton every morning, before getting busy with the distribution of advertisements in the afternoon. Only then, while staff in other essential areas receive a bonus for his services during the crisis, the thanks from La Poste, owner of Epsilon, are quite different. A restructuring plan was announced in early May by the yellow giant. The wages of newspaper carriers will be lowered.
