News – There will be no champion in France either

Following the latest government decisions, containment measures and closings of establishments open to the public, including ice rinks until April 15 at least, it seems impossible to envisage the resumption of competitions, announces the FFHG.

The Executive Office of the FFHG, meeting Monday, March 16, therefore decided unanimously, for the 2019-2020 season:

– to put an end to all the championships,

– not to issue any title of champion,

– that there would be no sport descents.

If necessary to bring a team into a higher level championship for administrative or financial reasons, the Board of Directors will study the club files and the opinion of the CNSCG, in the sports order arrested at the end of the regular season.

On the other hand, and in accordance with the regulations of the FFHG and those of the CHL, Amiens, as winner of the Coupe de France, is qualified for the Continental Cup while Grenoble, as first in the ranking of the season regular, is qualified for CHL.
