Philadelphia Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom (24), who has conquered a rare form of bone cancer, was back in training with his teammates on Sunday.
A finalist for the Bill-Masterton Trophy, Lindblom was diagnosed in December with Ewing’s sarcoma, a cancerous tumor that grows in or in the tissues around bones. On July 2, he appeared healed in a video. Lindblom then returned to Sweden to see family and friends, then arrived in the Toronto NHL bubble last week for a week in quarantine.
There is no time limit for his return to play.
