News of Crimea today: occupiers will not run trains from Crimea to Kherson and Melitopol on time

Opponents promised to solve the problem within a few days.

The occupiers decided not to run trains from the annexed Crimea to the occupied mainland of Ukraine – to Kherson and Melitopol on time.

On Friday, July 1, trains will not run on the Dzhankoy-Kherson and Dzhankoy-Melitopol routes, Sergei Aksenov, the self-proclaimed “head” of Crimea, wrote on Telegram.

According to him, the railway communication will not be launched on time, since “security work” has not been completed on the railway line.

The pseudo-official added that security measures would be completed within a few days.

“… We apologize to everyone who bought tickets. I guarantee that all costs will either be compensated, or your ticket will remain valid after the schedule is adjusted …”, Aksenov promised.

Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov said on the air of the national telethon that the occupiers announced the launch of a train from this city to Dzhankoy from July 1.

“… They decided to launch a passenger train to hide behind a human shield, because they use the railway to transport military equipment,” the head of Melitopol said.
