According to the 24 Hours site, the Lausanne Hockey Club has contracted a new foreigner. It would be the American striker Brian Gibbons (32 years old) who played in the NHL with the Carolina Hurricanes, where his contract came to an end. During the past season, he also played in AHL with the Charlotte Checkers.
Obviously the Vaud club would have decided to compose its foreign legion with three attackers, Cory Conacher (see also our news), Cory Emmerton and therefore Brian Gibbons, and a defender in the person of Mark Barberio (see also our news). To be continued.
