A case of Covid-19 detected Friday, two others this Tuesday, it is certain, a new cluster has settled in the judicial court of Nancy.

A first case of Covid-19 had been detected at the end of last week: affected by the virus, a magistrate of the JIRS (specialized interregional jurisdiction). In the process, 24 people (13 magistrates and 11 officials) were placed in the fortnight. This Tuesday, two new cases were identified, in two officials. The Regional Health Agency initially asked the court to minimize the activity. “This Wednesday, the judicial city of Nancy only provided the only emergencies,” said François Pérain, the prosecutor.

This Wednesday, late morning, Jean-Baptiste Haquet, the president of the judicial tribunal, had an interview with ARS and Santé Publique France. “And it turns out that, following these three cases, the chain of contamination could not be determined,” said the magistrate. The health authorities have therefore decided that the reduced activity plan will be maintained until next Tuesday. Only immediate appearances will be dealt with, debates before the liberty and detention judge, the emergencies of the application of sentences or guardianships, hourly to hour summary proceedings or even some important investigative acts.

Lawyers invited to be tested too

All this time to know the result of the screening tests to which will be submitted, in the coming hours, all the magistrates and officials of the court. “The household, security, association and catering staff will also be tested,” continues the president. “It represents about two hundred people. “
