Hockey Canada has announced the cancellation of all summer camps for its national teams due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including that of Team Canada junior. Cancellations affect all events scheduled between June and August.
Instead, Hockey Canada will organize virtual sessions that will include home physical preparation plans, plans and follow-ups relating to mental performance, nutrition, off-ice skills, skating simulations, activities promotion of teamwork, preparation for short international competitions and meetings with the coaching staff.
However, the Hockey Canada calendar as of September 1 remains unchanged for the fall and winter.
