Since Friday, February 28, 2020, 16,473 people (88 more than the last assessment) have tested positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
There have been 7 additional deaths over the past 24 hours, a total of 855 people have died from coronavirus in the region. Currently 1,091 people who are Covid-19 positive are hospitalized, which is 18 fewer people compared to the last assessment. 114 people are in intensive care (-5 compared to the last assessment).
There are 1,831 positive cases among residents of nursing homes in the region, including 507 hospitalized and 466 deaths of residents of nursing homes since the beginning.
