DIRECTOR PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), Ahmad Hadian Lukita, denied the news of the match Persib Bandung vs Barito Putera in week 34 Liga 1 2021-2022 will be repeated. He said there had been no decision regarding the news above.
“There is no plan like the news circulating,” said Ahmad Hadian Lukita when contacted by MNC Portal Indonesia, Monday (18/4/2022).

Just to note, the match week 34 of Liga 1 2021-2022 which brought together Barito Putera vs Persib Bandung ended 1-1. The result doesn’t help Persipura Jayapura which in the other match won 3-0 over Persita Tangerang.
At the end of the 2021-2022 Liga 1 standings, the collection of points for Persipura and Barito Putera is actually 36 points. However, Barito Putera has the right to occupy a better position because he has a head-to-head advantage over Persipura.
As a result, Persipura Jayapura which occupies the 16th position must be willing to be relegated. This result is what makes Persipura Jayapura fans, namely Persipura Mania, not accept it.
They filed a lawsuit to the Central Jakarta District Court on suspicion of elephant football. They sued four parties, namely PSSI, Persib Bandung, Barito Putera and David da Silva.
Persib Bandung striker, David da Silva, is suspected or accused of deliberately thwarting a number of opportunities, so that Maung Bandung failed to score an additional goal against Barito Putera. One of them when the Brazilian striker failed to execute a penalty.
The following is a lawsuit filed by fans, quoting from the Central Jakarta District Court page:
1. Granted the Plaintiff’s claim in its entirety;
2. Canceling the results of the match between Defendant II (PERSIB) VS Defendant III (BARITO PUTRA) or at least a rematch will be held and witnessed by the audience offline;
3. Declaring that the match between Persib and Barito Putra is playing elephant football which violates the principle of fair play and is an unlawful act which greatly harms the Plaintiffs;
4. Declare the pride of the Plaintiffs’ Club Persipura Jayapura Cancel relegation and remain as a Participant of League 1;
5. Forbidding Persib Bandung Player Defendant IV on behalf of “DA SILVA” to play in football competitions throughout Indonesia.
6. To punish the Defendants for their fault in paying compensation to the Plaintiffs with the following details;
1. Material Losses
Losses due to incurring costs for case registration at the Central Jakarta District Court attending court, presenting witnesses, paying for car rental, legalizing evidence, photocopying, stamp duty, etc. as a result of this case in the amount of 1,000,000,000, – (One Billion Rupiah);
1. Immaterial Losses;
That as a result of the elephant football case, the Plaintiff felt very harmed by immaterial or moral losses in the form of unpleasant feelings, stress, time and thought wasted during the management of this case up to the trial process at the Central Jakarta District Court where the losses would be compensated with the value of finance then the amount
