The daily “20 Minutes“teaches us that the new roof of the St-Léonard ice rink in Friborg has produced since March electricity from solar sources equivalent to the annual consumption of 200 households, or 700 megawatt hours per year obtained by 3,770 m2 of solar panels .
This installation, which cost around CHF 6 million, is mainly used for heating and the production of domestic hot water for the sports site.
