An artistic group that appeared in a circulating video clip performing a popular dance for patients in a private health center caused the formation of an urgent investigation committee from the Medical Obligations and Violations Department.
The Director of Health Affairs in Jizan, Abd al-Rahman al-Harbi, directed an investigation with the medical center specializing in dialysis, after the band’s clip spread on social media.
One of the committee members confirmed,News 24“The center coordinated with one of the popular bands in the region to celebrate the founding day, as the band moved between the patients’ rooms, which sparked controversy about what they did as an inconvenience to patients and visitors.”
The source stated that a preliminary report was made and submitted to the Ministry of Health until the investigation committee completes its procedures, indicating that penalties will be applied to the health facility after the completion of the investigation process.
