News 24 | Health clarifies the permissible period of sitting in front of electronic devices for children

The Ministry of Health has clarified the limit allowed for children to sit in front of the television screen or electronic devices.

The ministry indicated that children aged 5 to 18 must set a specific time limit to not exceed two hours a day, and for preschoolers, the time does not exceed one hour a day.

She noted that 18- to 24-month-olds should be sitting for some time with a parent, but children up to 18 months shouldn’t have time to sit in front of the TV.
