Starting the December 12, 2022, Air France will provide a daily direct connection between its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub and New York-Newark Liberty airport (EWR). The hub is the second international airport in the New York area. It is located about 30 km from Manhattan. Air France had already provided a direct line to this airport until 2012.

The future CDG-Newark link will be operated all year round. It will complement the eight daily flights on the Paris CDG-New York JFK axis. Air France provides six frequencies and Delta Air Lines of them.

The company will implement a Boeing 777-200 with a capacity of 280 seats (40 in Business cabin, 24 in Premium Economy and 216 in Economy). The devices will offer, among other things, a connexion wifi.

New York-Newark Liberty sera Air France’s 18th destination in North America this winter. The company thus serves Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC in the United States. It also arises in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada as well as in Cancun and Mexico City in Mexico.

Newark welcomed in 2019 some 46.5 million annual passengers. In 2021, its traffic again reached 30 million passengers.
