For over eight years, Matt Green visited every block in New York City, covering a distance of 15,000 kilometers. That roughly corresponds to the distance between Germany and Australia. But to cover this distance in just one city is a completely different dimension. Matt’s mission also cost him a lot: He gave up his well-paying job as an engineer, his relationship broke up and he no longer has his own apartment. When you’ve been on the streets of New York for so long, you get a completely different view of your surroundings. Filmmaker Jeremy Workman is friends with Matt and persuaded his friend to accompany him with a camera. Together they explored the Big Apple and got to know the city from a completely new perspective.
