New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said this Sunday that his state could proceed with a court case against the Trump administration after the US president threatened that he could leave New York out of the future Covid-19 vaccine.
“I can say this, if the Trump administration does not change this plan and does not proceed with the elaboration of a fair process for the distribution of the vaccine, we will strengthen our legal rights. We are going to file a lawsuit to protect New Yorkers, ”the governor told the New York Post.
“I will not allow myself to be the target of bullying or abuse,” said the Democratic governor.
In a statement that was viewed by experts as politically inclined, Trump said he would not send vaccines to New York State after Cuomo said he had his own panel of independent experts.
