Former US presidential candidate Bloomberg has been reappointed UN Special Envoy on Cities and Climate Change.
A spokesman for the United Nations announced that he would advise Secretary General Guterres in future on relevant issues. The 78-year-old businessman and former mayor of New York was elected to this office back in 2014.
