New York bishop Lamor Whitehead arrested for extortion and fraud

Bishop Lamor Whitehead, a friend of New York Mayor Eric Adams, was arrested and charged with fraud and extortion. Whitehead allegedly cheated one of his parishioners out of his life savings.

Whitehead now faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
