Organizers of the New York Auto Show they have canceled the event for the second year in a row due to the strong incidence in the US of the much more transmissible Delta variant of the coronavirus, as well as measures recently announced by state and local officials to combat its spread. The show was to be held between August 20 and 29.
“The covid pandemic has challenged our city, the country, and the entire world, but like the auto industry, we know that the New York Auto Show will rebound and be bigger and better than before. We firmly believe that this will be the case. It will be when the Show returns to its traditional dates in April 2022“said event president Mark Schienberg.
