Airline passengers who have booked with Lufthansa may experience cancellations and delays. The German UFO cabin crew has announced new strikes at the airline to reinforce their demands for more pay and better working conditions.
It is not yet clear when the strikes will take place. On Wednesday afternoon there is a press conference of the union, which it claims represents more than 30,000 employees in aviation.
The unions have been upset with Lufthansa for some time. That is why there was a strike at the beginning of November. The airline then had to cancel hundreds of flights. Last month cabin crew from GermanWings, also part of the Lufthansa group, stopped.
Mediation attempts between both parties have yielded little to date.
