It is another setback for Gelderland’s ambitions to generate more sustainable energy. Earlier it appeared that some of Liander’s regional grids cannot handle the amount of electricity in some places. For example, companies north of Nijmegen sometimes have to switch off machines to ensure that the local network is not overloaded.
