Yes exactly to each his own.
I don’t care about progression except the skills to get tricks into my hands.
Where skate was really great at the time
games, the controls of skaterXL are really one step further.
I don’t miss the lack of a story etc because I see skating as something creative.
Now you can still look for sick spots and if you want something cooler, you make it yourself.
Also in terms of gear, it’s great that you can find almost everything (really almost everything) and make it yourself. You don’t need all kinds of bullshit to execute first.
But a new skate is definitely great!!! After all, I don’t just play 1 FPS or 1 racing game.
