To this end, the environmental office is divided into different training sections. During the three training phases at the Department of the Environment of the Darmstadt Regional Council in the Darmstadt, Frankfurt and Wiesbaden locations, the trainees learn the tasks and working methods of the environmental administration in the areas of immission control, waste management , water management and soil protection. In another part of the training, they receive an overview of the activities of the Hessian State Agency for Nature Conservation, Environment and Geology (HLNUG).
