In total, the country expects to receive seven million doses of the Sinovac vaccine. Another two million doses of the Chinese vaccine will arrive next week and the rest at the end of July.
President Guillermo Lasso announced that they arrived in the country two million doses of Sinovac vaccine, the afternoon of July 3, 2021.
The doses arrived at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito, where they were received by the Vice President of the Republic, Alfredo Borrero; the Vice Minister of Foreign Relations and Human Mobility, César Montaño; and the Minister of Public Health, Ximena Garzón.
In total, the country expects to receive seven million doses of Sinovac vaccine.
Another two million doses of the Chinese vaccine are scheduled to arrive next week, with the remainder by the end of July 2021.
According to information from the Vaccine Meter, Until July 1, 4,301,966 doses have been applied. Of that total 2,885,050 correspond to the first dose and 1,416,916 to the second dose.
