However, the next game in the Saints Row series will not be launched on February 25 as planned. Instead, developer Volition has chosen to postpone the game until August 23.

In a message on the game’s website Jim Boone, creative director of Saints Row, explains that it is coronary restrictions and work from home that have created problems for the studio.
Despite the fact that the development team must have adapted quickly to the new work situation, it was no longer possible to keep the original date.
– Our priority is to create the best Saints Row game to date, and if we had kept to the original date, the game would not reach the standards we expect and deserve. The team needs more time to achieve our vision. We do a little fine-tuning, and there will not be many changes to the game other than quality and polishing, says Boone.
It did not take long before Twitter users began to wonder if the date change was due to Elden Ring being launched the same day. Volition denied, however, that this was the case, and said the team was looking forward to sharing the release date with the long-awaited FromSoftware game.
New Saints Row marks one fresh start for the spinnville series. This time the plot is set in a city called Santo Ileso, where a new Saints gang takes up the fight against the underworld.
