A few months after the launch of the new one PlayStation 5 Sony’s leaders have not yet unveiled the official price for the two versions of the next-gen console, giving rise to a growing community discussion. A new rumor published today by the French portal Xboxygen points the figures upwards.
According to what was published by French site Xboxygen, which refers to its sources without however citing them, the price of the new PlayStation 5 should range between 499 euros and 599 euros depending on the version chosen, respectively for All Digital or Standard. The prices provided by the portal are 100 euros higher than what was revealed last week by VGC, which attributed to the Sony console a price between 399 and 499 euros. The figures, although different, could be plausible, especially if the technology contained in the next one is taken into account PS5.
However, the same authors of the indiscretion call for caution, considering the possibility that the information received may prove to be a simple placeholder. It also seems strange that the news comes from a portal dedicated to the Xbox competitor. What do you think about it?
