Twist in the case of the theft of 212 computers (laptops and fixed) at the State IT Agency (Adie) located at the Technopôle in Pikine.
The thief gendarme, MF, chief of post of the gendarmerie of the premises of Adie, would have contacted NT, one of the alleged accomplices, in order to sell him computers.
According to Liberation, he went to Adie where the gendarme would have given him, by credit, 22 HP brand laptops at a total price of 2 million Fcfa and fixed Lenovo branded computers at 450,000 Fcfa.
The gendarme, who denied his involvement in the theft of computers, was confused by surveillance video showing him formally taking the computers on board with NT and the other suspects.
Indeed, the gendarme opened the door to thieves so that they can access the Adie warehouse to steal the computers.
NT showed up on July 17th to take away the computers.
