In the Russian information space, there was talk of the creation of another private military company in the Russian Federation. This was brought to the attention of former Russian Aerospace Forces pilot and now blogger and aviation expert Fighterbomber, who quoted some of his known details of what was happening on his Telegram channel.
The expert noted that the new PMC will have “everything of its own”, i.e. soldiers, artillery, tanks, other equipment and even planes.
Fighterbomber writes that the PMC air wing will most likely consist of two full bomber squadrons. In addition, at least one of them will be “of the best”, which suggests the Su-34. An unspecified number of helicopters will also be present.
In addition, he cryptically specified that the PMC is being created and will be located “in the place” where highly qualified specialists in their field are definitely serving now, who can “do a lot of things with such a group of military aviation”, if they are freed from paperwork and so on bureaucratic accountability.
He believes that the superiors are unlikely to let everyone come. But the very fact that many highly qualified soldiers, capable and ready to fight, have expressed a desire to join the new PMC, is extremely telling.
But it is too early to say how successful the idea will be, because it is not normal in the presence of military actions to say what will happen in an hour, let alone talk about relatively distant future plans.
