The Bressuirais take their heads out of the water
Following the interministerial decree of February 09, 2022, the municipality of Bressuire was recognized in a state of natural disaster for the floods and mudslides of June 19 as well as those of June 21 and 22, 2021.

Change of prefect in Deux-Sèvres
Emmanuelle Dubée, deputy director of Gérald Darmanin’s cabinet, has been appointed prefect of Deux-Sèvres and replaces Emmanuel Aubry in office for two and a half years.
A departure for Sarthe is planned for this former secretary general and delegate prefect for equal opportunities with the prefect of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
The Department releases several envelopes
During the permanent committee on February 7, the Deux-Sèvres Departmental Council voted in favor of an envelope of 737,000 euros intended for regional development.

No dead, but no more injuries. Barely over, the month of January 2022 was already categorized as the worst month since 2008 in terms of road safety in Deux-Sèvres.
In a press briefing, this Tuesday, January 25, the prefect of Deux-Sèvres, Emmanuel Aubry sounded the alarm.
The number of injury accidents is the highest since January 2013 and the number of injuries has doubled compared to 2021.
