New podcast out there: Shit packages like investor mode

Was it just fake, the fairy tale about hydrogen trucks that the charismatic Trevor Milton launched? Without producing a single vehicle, this summer Nikola reached a market price of close to 30 billion dollars, more than Ford.

Two weeks ago, Hindenburg Research, one of the newer so-called shareholder activists, launched its report on Nikola, which raised strong doubts about the entire company, and whether founder Trevor Milton has completely oversold what Nikola does. Since then, the stock has plummeted. On Wednesday, it fell 25 percent, and on Thursday opens a new 20 percent on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

The investigation is underway, and Trevor Milton has resigned. Analysts at Hindenburg Research are raking in their short sales of the shares in Nikola.

Is it okay to launch crap packages and make a lot of money on stock falls? This is the theme of this latest episode of Finansredaksjonen with finance editor Terje Erikstad, stock exchange commentator Thor Chr Jensen and journalist Ida Grieg Riisnæs.
