New perspectives on the competitive scene of Valorant.

Riot Games today revealed new plans for VALORANT Esports, which will notably materialize with the creation of three international leagues at the highest level of competition for the 2023 season. entry for a select number of teams to ensure the long-term stability of the world’s fastest growing esport. To support this initiative, Riot Games will launch new features and events.

Concretely 4 axes are developed on the different levels of competitions:

– Three new international leagues featuring week-to-week competition between the best teams in the world. The three international leagues, made up of teams from North and South America, EMEA and Asia respectively, will see the best players compete in LAN and in front of an audience (health and safety conditions permitting). . Throughout the year, the top teams in each league will qualify for two International Masters and the VALORANT Champions, which will designate the VALORANT World Champion team.

– A new in-game competitive mode, accessible to all players directly in the VALORANT client. This mode will complement existing leaderboards, giving players a new objective alongside ranked play.

– The launch of new domestic leagues that will expand opportunities for promising talent aspiring to reach the elite international leagues. The best teams will have the opportunity to compete against the greatest talents of their region within their respective national leagues.

– Riot Games innovates in the field of esports competitions by waiving any entry or participation fees for the selected organizations, thus creating long-term partners.
