New owner Miss Etam, Claudia Sträter and Steps closes dozens of stores | NOW

Martijn Rozenboom, the new owner of fashion stores Miss Etam, Expresso, Steps and Claudia Sträter, will close 28 stores in the Netherlands. The holding company NXT Fashion announced this on Friday.

Due to the reorganization, some 270 employees may lose their jobs.

The branches that close are often no longer profitable or are in a bad location. For example, the Miss Etam branch in Groningen will be closed.

Rose Tree and the FLV Group names the retail chains at the beginning of September after the bankruptcy of the previous owner. A new takeover party was already being sought from the end of 2019.

Miss Etam, Claudia Sträter, Expresso, Steps and Promiss have now been incorporated into the new holding company NXT Fashion, which is part of the FLV Group.
