New Multi-Energy Station in Strasbourg to Meet Growing BioNGV Demand

Officialized this Monday, September 18, the future V-Gas multi-energy station in Strasbourg will be connected to the R-GDS network. Scheduled for the first half of 2024, it will meet the growing demand for bioNGV from carriers linked to the establishment of the Eurometropolis’s low emissions zone (ZFE).

Proviridis is established in the East. Associated with R-GDS, the operator detailed the outlines of its first Alsatian station at the start of the week. Located in Strasbourg, a few streets from the historic rue du Doubs station, the new station will offer more space to accommodate transporters. It will thus have 4 CNG/bioCNG gas terminals. Directly connected to the R-GDS local network, these will be associated with a redundant compression system. There will be added high-power terminals for recharging electric trucks. The official opening of the station is planned for the first half of 2024.

Also hydrogen

The fuel supply of the future multi-energy station will be supplemented by a neighboring hydrogen station, already under construction. The latter will allow any hydrogen vehicle to be quickly supplied with distribution pressures of 350 or 700 bars.
