A new gameplay trailer for the action role-playing game was shown at the upcoming Future Games Show: Summer Showcase 2023 presentation Lords of the Fallen.
In a fresh 3-minute video, the developers showed in more detail the dark fantasy lands of the game, battles with monstrous bosses and various other enemies, as well as a system of two parallel worlds.
In the new Lords of the Fallen, players will take on the role of the Dark Crusader from the Church of Orius and journey through the fading world of Mornstead to fight against a variety of monstrous creatures and light the blessed beacons, preventing the resurrection of the demonic god Adir.
The project is created on Unreal Engine 5 and uses proprietary features of the engine. One of the features of the game is the seamless transition between the realms of the living and the dead with the help of a special lantern that blurs the line between the two worlds.
The game will be released on October 13 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
