New leak pictures show the off-roader uncovered

It seems the resurrected Ford Bronco has taken the web by storm. Our American colleagues from Motor1.com USA had already leaked pictures of both the Bronco and the smaller Bronco sport this week. The photos have spread rapidly on the Internet.

However, we were not so sure whether these were well-made fakes (judge for yourself, you can find the pictures in the gallery below this article). Now two more pictures have appeared that allow an even more detailed view of the off-roader. They first dived in last night Bronco6G Forum and are watermarked by The Raptor Connection Mistake.

They show a four-door Bronco in black with less aggressive tires than on the earlier (supposed) prototype shots. From the side, it does look a bit like the old Land Rover Defender, but the extremely long hood alone makes it stand out more than enough from the British off-road icon.

Speaking of the hood: Two interesting details are now visible. On the one hand, you can see a slight elevation, which also indicates a large engine. According to reports, the robust Ford is to receive a 2.7-liter turbo V6, which is coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

On the other hand, there are two handles that seem to be connected to the hood. It may be retro-inspired turn signals.

At the request of our US colleagues, Ford said earlier in the week that there was no comment on “speculation about future models”. However, we are pretty sure that these new leak pictures are not fakes and that we actually have a completely undetected pre-series model of the new Bronco in mind.

Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether the Bronco will make it to Europe. We would still be interested in what you think about Ford’s new off-road animal. Tell us in the comment column below this article.
