New Jeep electric car sells 250 units before test drive while dog owner warns of fertilizer poisoning and potato farmer forced to halt production due to aesthetics

Here they gather around the new car – 250 sold before anyone has seen it
(Telemark newspaper)

On Thursday, Jeep’s first all-electric car was launched.

– It will be fun to finally get to show it off, says sales manager Benjamin Holmern at Autostrada Skien.

He can say that the car was bought by around 250 people before it was even possible to test drive it.

When Telemarksavisa visited, there was a flurry of activity in the premises at Nenset. All other models were moved out of the premises, so that the Jeep Avenger could be shown in peace without interference.

– I hope that we will have a demo here in July. Now we will show this car on Friday and Saturday, says Holmern with a smile on his face.

Warns other dog owners: – The dog quickly developed a rash all over its body
(My JessheimRomerikes Blad)

The dog Pagni suddenly developed a rash and blisters after an evening walk.

– The dog got these rashes very quickly all over his body. It felt sorry for itself and itched violently, mother Sophie Sjåstad tells Mitt Jessheim.

She suspects that the dog may have ingested artificial fertilizer that was lying along the side of the road.

– As this happened so late in the evening, we called the emergency room to find out what we should do. They were able to confirm that our dog had had an allergic shock reaction and that it could be related to her ingesting some artificial fertiliser, says Sjåstad.

Now she has taken to social media to warn other dog owners.

– If your dog has such a reaction, it is always safest to seek help from a veterinarian, just as these owners have done. That’s what veterinarian Elin Lajord Oppegård says at the Jessheim animal clinic. The seas (+)

Becomes a potato farmer with immediate effect: – The skin was not pretty enough
(Rana Blade)

For 15 years, Ivar Tomas Høgset, who owns Storrøvatn farm in Røvassdalen, has been one of the largest potato producers in Helgeland and Nordland. Now there is a stop with immediate effect. The reason is simple. He was not allowed to deliver the potatoes he had produced last year to the shops.

– When I arrived at the packing plant with my potatoes, it turned out that the skin was not pretty enough for them to be sent out to consumers. The result is that I have 60 tonnes of prime food potatoes that I just have to throw away. I lost around half a million kroner because I was not allowed to deliver the potatoes I produced last year. I can’t cover my expenses for growing, harvesting and storing the potatoes, says Høgset.
