Q – The Situ Health Center, North Sumedang District now has a Treatment Support Treatment (PDP) room for HIV/AIDS patients. The service room was officially opened by the Secretary of the Sumedang Health Service, Dr. Reny Kurniawati Anton, Wednesday 7 February 2024.
“Now the Situ Health Center, Sumedang Regency has additional PDP service facilities for the HIV/AIDS program,” said Reny.
Reny hopes that this PDP service is an effort by the Sumedang Regional Government to provide maximum services for HIV/AIDS sufferers.
“How service and treatment support is provided by the Situ Community Health Center, as additional facilities for patients suffering from HIV/AIDS,” he said.
Reny said, with the existence of the HIV/AIDS PDP at the Situ Health Center, it is hoped that sufferers will want to seek treatment or have themselves checked.
“With the increase in PDP, it is hoped that it will be easier to reach, because there are many health facilities available in several PKMs in the Sumedang area,” he added.
Furthermore, by increasing the PDP facilities at the Situ Health Center, it will support the target of zero new HIV/AIDS in Sumedang. He also invited people who need HIV/AIDS services to come directly to the Situ Community Health Center, because they will be well served.
“We have to solve HIV/AIDS by 2030. This is a first step within the PDP, and hopefully everything will go well,” said Reny.
