New heat wave over southern Quebec

The heat wave is back after the rainy interlude on Friday, prompting Environment Canada to keep the heat warning in effect for the south of the province.

“A mass of hot, humid air over southern Quebec will persist over the next few days,” said the federal agency.

These conditions could persist until Monday, it was added.

In the greater Montreal region, there will be alternating sun and cloud on Sunday with a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius and a humidity level of 42.
