New flight plan: Condor flies to these destinations in summer

The individual flight destinations are to be gradually resumed in the existing fuselage flight plan. From the middle of June, Condor is scheduled to fly to various Spanish destinations and some destinations in Greece, Croatia and Sardinia from the following departure airports:

  • Düsseldorf
  • Frankfurt
  • Hamburg
  • Munich

Destinations such as Cyprus, Turkey and the German holiday island of Sylt are to be served from the following departure airports from the end of June (25.o6.2020):

  • Hannover
  • Stuttgart
  • Leipzig / Halle
  • Berlin Schoenefeld

In the coming summer months, the German Condor will therefore offer almost 300 flight connections a week, which for the time being, however, will only serve the European region. This summer flight schedule is expected to be valid until the end of October. In addition, new bookings made until May 31, 2020 could be rebooked at any time without incurring additional fees. In addition, there is an official mask requirement for passengers and on-board personnel until 31 August 2020 on board the German Condor.

Conclusion on the Condor summer flight schedule

In view of the crisis situations of the past few weeks, a little joy about the recurring movement in international aviation should be allowed. It would probably have been foreseeable in advance that, if German flight operations were to resume, domestic European destinations would initially be served. Regardless of the flight plans, however, it is still necessary to regularly check the respective updates from the Federal Foreign Office regarding specific travel regions and to keep an eye on developments within the respective area. It remains to be seen whether and when the first long-haul destinations will be included in the existing flight plan again.
