The Azzurri used some young players and came close to beating their rivals.
An inexperienced Italian team successfully held Germany 1-1 in the opening match of the UEFA Nations League A Group 3, Sunday (5/6) early this morning.
In the match held at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, Lorenzo Pellegrini broke the deadlock for Azzurri in the 70th minute, before Joshua Kimmich equalized three minutes later with a close-range finish to give his side a point.
This result should be grateful for by Italy considering they are facing a new era with a number of young players.
