Dakahlia – Ramy Mahmoud:

Khaled Abdel Rahman, Mahmoud Nazmi’s lawyer, convicted of killing his two sons in the Mit Salsil center in Dakahlia governorate and throwing them from the top of Faraskour bridge in Damietta governorate on the second day of Eid Al-Fitr in 2018, announced a stay of execution and an investigation into the evidence presented.

The Mansoura Criminal Court, led by councilor Nassim Bayoumi, president of the Mansoura Criminal Court of the Third Circuit, had sentenced to death by hanging the inmate, Mahmoud Nazmy, accused in case no. 757 north of Dakahlia, limited to No. 355 partial offenses of Mit Salsil for the year 2018, in which he is accused of killing his two sons Rayan and Muhammad, throwing them into the Nile River, on the first day of Blessed Eid al-Adha, and claimed that they had been kidnapped, until the investigators reached the truth on the matter, and it was proved by conclusive evidence that he had committed the accident.

And the lawyer wrote on his personal page: “A thousand thanks, praise to God, Lord of the worlds, and then a thousand thanks to His Excellency the Attorney General, for having accepted the complaint I presented to stop the execution of the death sentence issued against his innocent and offended father, Mahmoud Nazmi, and to launch an investigation into the requests and evidence presented with the grievance, directly by the North Mansoura Prosecutor’s Office ”.

And the published lawyer continued, saying: “One billion congratulations to the Nazmi and Al-Jaali family and to the Egyptian and Arab people who believed in Mahmoud Nazmi’s innocence and defended him until the last moment.”
