New development of 4 sisters’ cyanide suicide in Fatih

In the Forensic Medicine Institute report, it was determined that 4 brothers who were found dead in their homes in Fatih last year died from cyanide poisoning and that the note “Attention is cyanide” hanging on the door of the house was written not by Oya Adult, but by the youngest brother Cüneyt Adult.

The investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on November 6, 2019, about the finding of the bodies of Cüneyt (48), Oya (54), Kamuran (60) and Yaşar Adult (56) brothers in an apartment on Molla Gürani Mahallesi Oğuzhan Street.

After the incident, the Forensic Medicine Institute, which prepared the preliminary autopsy report and found that the deaths were caused by cyanide, completed the detailed examinations and sent the autopsy reports to the prosecutor’s office.

In the examination of the Forensic Medicine Institute, it was stated that the deaths were caused by cyanide poisoning.

Upon the request of the prosecutor’s office, the Forensic Medicine Institute, which also examined the note “There is cyanide,” hanging on the door of the house where the brothers were found dead, determined that this note, which is estimated to be written by Oya Adult, was written by the youngest brother Cüneyt Adult.

While it was learned that the prosecution was waiting for the examination report of a liquid in the house where the incident occurred, the investigation was reported to be concluded after the reports were completed.
