All those who live in Stuttgart will soon find a new place to go in the city center alongside Starbucks and numerous bakeries. The first branch of a popular Greek coffee franchise will soon open its doors in the capital of Baden-Württemberg. According to media reports, the owners have big plans.
A first
The coffee franchise “Coffee Berry” originally comes from Greece, where it was founded in the municipality of Alimos near Athens. It didn’t take long for success there and the brand quickly established itself locally. There are also numerous branches in Cyprus, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. But that’s apparently not enough for the owners. Many more international branches are now to be added to the approximately 200 locations so far.
The coffee giant plans to expand primarily into Central Europe, the USA and the Middle East. Germany is making the start, as the first Coffee Berry branch will soon open very close to another popular start-up. If you get a cinnamon roll from Cinnamood, you can then walk straight to Coffee Berry and stock up on coffee.
Many options
The renovation work for the new location on Neue Brücke 2, in the middle of Stuttgart city center, is already in full swing. However, the exact opening date is not yet known. However, customers can already look forward to the new product, as there will probably be a wide variety of delicious food and drinks on site, like in all other branches. In addition to good coffee, customers can also enjoy yoghurts, smoothie bowls, snacks, baguettes and salads.
The coffee company, founded in Greece in 2003, has quickly made it to the top in Greece and now even operates its own industrial coffee processing plant. It remains to be seen whether the concept will also be as well received in Germany.
