New audio reveals others involved in “Ñeñe Hernández” case

The electoral fraud scandal involving Colombian President Iván Duque has a new chapter with the revelation of an audio, which would demonstrate the coordination of César JG Hernández Aponte, alias «Ñeñe», with a businesswoman from Miami and would be involved in it, in addition , the Colombian beef smuggler Fernando de Matos Rebolledo, arrested in 2015 in Venezuela, Telesur review.

The recordings reveal the ins and outs of the vote payment mechanism that would have benefited the candidacy of Iván Duque (from the Uribista party Centro Democrático) in the 2018 elections and in which ‘Ñeñe’ Hernández would have played an important role.

The Colombian newspaper The New Press It also points out that these recordings and others, that a previous investigation of the newspaper already revealed exclusively, were hidden for 21 months by the Colombian Attorney General’s Office.

Since last March, the Prosecutor’s Office had ordered the start of the procedures to carry out the investigation of the alleged fraud, after other audios were released in which the “Ñeñe” called to “put the batteries” and start “looking for money to spend under the table”.
