New attack drones developed in Ukraine can reach Moscow, reaching speeds of 700 km/h

They carry warheads weighing up to 20 kilograms while flying at speeds of up to 700 km/h

According to expert Valery Borovik, the new drones carry warheads weighing up to 20 kilograms while flying at speeds of up to 700 km/h.

In Ukraine, engineers have created attack drones that can reach Moscow. This was stated by the representative of the CNN team Valery Borovik, quoted by Focus.

According to him, the company has developed several models of drones of different shapes and sizes. One of them is distinguished by long-range and combat power. However, the name and technical characteristics of the aircraft are still being kept secret.

“From 15 to 700 kilometers, depending on the warhead. With a 20-kilogram warhead, we can reach all the way to Moscow,” said Valery Borovik.

His team is also testing a new military aircraft-type drone called the Vidsich. This UAV is designed to attack Russian positions, it can carry a warhead weighing 2-3 kg at a distance of up to 40 km under the control of an operator.

“We concentrate our attacks mainly on very expensive Russian equipment,” Borovik said.

One of the advantages of the model, Valery Borovik, called invisibility: it is practically invisible and inaudible in the sky during operation.

The Vidsich is supposed to be used alongside unmanned reconnaissance aircraft, which the team is also assembling. The Russians use a similar tactic with the Lancet kamikaze drones.

According to Valery Borovik, his company now produces about 50 drones per month, but is now negotiating with a Ukrainian factory to increase the number to 1,000 units. In the arsenal of developers there are already ready-made models of various shapes and sizes.

On June 1, the Ministry of Digital Development organized a competition for FPV drones so that developers could show their drones in action and interest the military.

Many of the developers involved in the drone race admit to working on creating drones that can fly long distances and carry large payloads. Some of them have already achieved success, and Valery Borovik’s team is among them.

According to the head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine Yury Shtigol, the army needs different types of drones, both expensive and cheap, equipped with different types of communication. According to him, the authorities want to increase the production of UAVs.

“About 30 companies in Ukraine are already mass-producing these drones, and our goal is to purchase up to 200,000 by the end of the year. So far, we have signed contracts for the purchase of 2,000, and this is only for a few weeks. This process is expanding every week,” assured Yuri Shtigol.

On May 30, several drones attacked Moscow, damaging residential buildings. The Russians spotted mysterious drones with an aerodynamic “duck” design in the sky.
