The American electronics giant, Apple, has added a number of new applications to work with its iPhone smartphones by updating the iOS 16.2 operating system, including recordings of Japanese karaoke songs, a whiteboard application and applications for monitoring the user sleep.
Apple also made the FreeForm smartboard app available for Mac computers, allowing multiple Apple device users to interact with drawings, text, and other media on a single board using a smartphone.
At the same time, the new Apple Music Sing feature allows you to initiate singing sessions of Japanese karaoke songs via phone, with the option of subscribing to Apple’s music streaming service. The new feature also allows the user to choose between singing a duet with a real artist or singing solo, as well as having a catalog of millions of songs.
The operating system update also adds support for satellite Distress Messaging service in emergencies for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro phones.
This service allows the user to send a distress message in an emergency, even if he is outside the coverage area of mobile phone networks, relying on satellites.
Apple has also indicated that the iOS 16.2 update fixes many vulnerabilities affecting the security of iPhone and iPad.
