New app for EVO II V2 drone from Autel is unveiled.

Autel Robotics launched this week a new application for owners of the EVO II V2 drone. the app Altar Explorer V2 implements several bug fixes and adds the Coordinated Turns feature, which causes the device to no longer stop during programmed turns.

The drone gained a V2 version in 2021, due to problems with raw material supply. Unfortunately, the V2 version brought several improvements, but the controls of the EVO II V1 are incompatible with the V2 version. The new application brings some news to users of the EVO II V2 drone, such as in-flight experience optimizations in Waypoint, Rectangular, and Oblique modes.

The new Autel Explorer V2 application, firmware V2.3.35, also adds Corridor Mission capability for all users, including a new flight mode for the device. The update is optional and the Autel Explorer app will continue to work with the EVO II V2 drone, however, Autel recommends updating the app to improve the flight experience. already the new app is totally incompatible with EVO II V1, so if you own the old model, there’s no point in updating the app.

The company provided an image with a QR Code to make people’s lives easier when downloading the application. In the image below, you can point your cell phone’s camera to purchase the Autel Explorer V2 for Android and iOS.

Android users can download the app directly from site Autel Roboticswhile iOS users can access the App Store to update the app’s firmware. With firmware update V2.3.25, users can access Autel Explorer V2, an improved version of the App, in the same way that Autel released V2 of the EVO II drone. Although the app is not compatible with the V1 version of the drone, it is important to keep it up to date if you have a new drone and intend to use all the features made available by the manufacturer.
