New Action Racing Sim Game “LASERS” Inspired by Cutscene in RE:4 DLC Launching December 2023 – Wishlist Now!

Players who have played the DLC “Resident Evil 4” (RE:4) should be deeply impressed by King Ada’s passage through the laser trap room. Now this experience will no longer be available. It’s just a Cutscene animation, but it became the inspiration for other developers’ new games, “LASERS”.

“LASERS” is an action racing simulation game created by Joe Fender and Luke Fanning, developers of the independent game team Straight Back Games, who previously released the critically acclaimed horror game “DEVOUR”.

In the promotional video for this game, the player plays the role of an unlucky contestant. A group of people steps onto a stage full of laser traps. If they make a mistake, they will be ruthlessly cut and their flesh and blood will be separated.

According to a blunt statement from the development team, “LASERS” is a competitive game that supports 1 to 10 people playing together. There are many male and female characters wearing sports tights, and the game is cheaper than a cheeseburger.

Another important point of the development team is that “LASERS” is not a AAA masterpiece. It has not gone through a ten-year development period, and there is no DLC or battle pass. It will not have a 100+ single-player game experience, nor will there be any program-generated levels (emphasis added) All levels are handmade).

In other words, this work is very similar to another Steam game “Quest Room”, except that the main focus of “LASERS” is all about lasers.

The multiplayer death game “LASERS” developed by the “DEVOUR” game team Straight Back Games is expected to be launched in December 2023. Players who want to experience Death Wish with their friends can add it to their wish list first.
